Aluminum Tape Loose Tube Cable (GYTA)
Armored Outdoor, Gel-Filled, PE
Product Overview
The GYTA fiber cable features a Multi Loose Tube Aluminum Polyethylene Laminated Tape design. It contains 250µm fibers held within gel-filled PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) loose tubes. These tubes wrap around a phosphatized steel wire central strength member, which provides essential structural support. To prevent moisture ingress, the loose tubes are filled with a waterproof compound. For some cable types, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) extrudes around the metal-reinforced core. This construction ensures that the loose tubes and filler ropes twist tightly around the central core, forming a compact and rounded cable core. Water-blocking fillers fill any remaining gaps, while a polyethylene sheath encases the entire assembly. Finally, an aluminum tape (APL) wraps longitudinally around the sheath to complete the cable.
Characteristics of Optical Fiber
Optical fiber cables, often called fiber optic cables, consist of pure quartz transformed into very thin fibers, even thinner than human hair. These fibers exhibit several advantageous characteristics. Firstly, they deliver extremely fast transmission speeds and support long-distance data transfer. Furthermore, they can carry vast amounts of information simultaneously. Importantly, optical fibers resist electromagnetic interference, ensuring clear and stable signal transmission. They also withstand environmental factors like thunder and lightning. Additionally, they are difficult to eavesdrop on, enhancing communication security. Optical fibers are non-conductive, eliminating grounding issues between devices. Therefore, they are ideal for various applications in modern communication systems.
Advantages of the GYTA Fiber Cable
The GYTA fiber cable’s design promotes high performance and reliability. The multi-loose tube structure, along with aluminum polyethylene laminated tape, offers excellent protection against mechanical damage and environmental stress. This robust construction allows the cable to perform reliably even in harsh conditions. Moreover, the waterproof compound and polyethylene sheath further enhance durability by shielding the cable from moisture and physical damage. As a result, the GYTA fiber cable proves to be an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor applications. It consistently delivers dependable performance, making it suitable for a wide range of networking needs.
